Technical Program Manager (RF/Hardware)

Location: Hybrid in Arlington, Virginia, with regular time at the Arlington office; occasional travel to Maryland labs, contract manufacturers, partners, and customers.

Salary: $220,000–$240,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Build the strategic roadmap, execution plan, milestones, and resourcing decisions for RF sensing capabilities.
• Lead RF product lines from prototype through production ramp and field deployment across hardware, embedded systems, and software.
• Manage contract manufacturers, design partners, component suppliers, procurement, testing, acceptance, and production scaling.
• Coordinate employees and contractors, define scopes of work, track deliverables, and maintain partner accountability.
• Contribute to technical design and testing discussions, identify risks, evaluate trade-offs, and support leadership decisions.
• Drive production readiness, including manufacturing tests, calibration, provisioning throughput, compliance, certification, and field support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field, or equivalent RF/hardware engineering experience.
• 5+ years of experience in technical program management, systems engineering, or RF, wireless, or embedded hardware engineering.
• Experience delivering complex, multi-phase programs involving hardware and software integration.
• Technical fluency across RF, digital hardware, and embedded software, with the ability to identify risks and challenge assumptions.
• Strong cross-functional communication, organization, and influence without direct management authority.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Nice to have

• Background in maritime, aerospace, defense, or field-deployed sensing systems.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Gantt software, or other collaboration platforms.
• Familiarity with agile, hybrid, and milestone-driven development methodologies.
