Technical Program Manager (Automotive)

Location: Hybrid work from an hirify.global office at least 3 days per week; candidates must be based near an hirify.global office, preferably in Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX. Travel up to 25% is required.

Salary: $112,000–$180,000 per year, plus annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own hardware health, reliability, and operational readiness across the deployed vehicle fleet.
• Define and monitor field quality, component failure, and fleet uptime KPIs.
• Identify hardware and embedded firmware issues, prioritize engineering investigations, and drive issue resolution.
• Coordinate service-parts provisioning, buffer stock, and supply replenishment with Supply Chain and Operations.
• Improve RMA, failure-analysis, field-service documentation, diagnostics tooling, and technical escalation processes.
• Track fleet-sustainment risks, remove roadblocks, align cross-functional priorities, and report program status to leadership.

Requirements

• Ability to work from an hirify.global office in the United States at least 3 days per week.
• Experience managing programs and operations for highly technical initiatives.
• Ability to break complex projects into milestones and deliver them on schedule.
• Experience creating project plans and roadmaps with dependency management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with engineers, partners, and C-level executives.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, plus solid technical aptitude and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Experience with scaled deployments in automotive or aerospace.
• Familiarity with autonomous vehicle systems.
