Staff Hardware Technical Program Manager (Robotics)

Location: Hybrid, based out of the Fremont, California office; all roles are U.S.-based and applicants must have current authorization to work in the United States.

Salary: $201,000–$261,000 USD annual base salary.

What you will do

• Own integrated planning and delivery tracking across the complete hardware lifecycle, from concept and architecture through EVT, DVT, PVT, mass production, and General Availability.
• Manage master schedules, dependencies, build readiness, critical paths, risks, long-lead components, and mitigation plans.
• Coordinate Product, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Firmware, and Software teams through design reviews, integration, and validation.
• Partner with NPI, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, contract manufacturers, and vendors on component readiness, tooling, factory execution, BOM health, and unit economics.
• Align commercialization, service, field operations, marketing, and commercial milestones with launch readiness.
• Establish scalable governance, gate reviews, dashboards, executive reporting, and post-build retrospectives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of technical program management experience leading complex hardware products from concept through volume production or General Availability.
• Deep familiarity with Systems Engineering, architecture development, hardware, software, firmware, testing, product requirements, and early-stage development.
• Experience collaborating across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing operations, and go-to-market teams.
• Direct experience with contract manufacturers, component vendors, and long-lead hardware procurement.
• Ability to structure greenfield or ambiguous programs, resolve priority conflicts, and influence decisions without direct authority.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex technical risks to executive stakeholders.
