Field Engineer II (IT Infrastructure)

Location: Onsite in Boston, Massachusetts, with travel to client locations throughout the Greater Boston area. Candidates must live in, near, or within commutable distance of Boston.

Annual compensation: $70,000–$90,000 USD, with possible bonus or incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Provide onsite desktop support and remote IT support, resolve technical issues, and close client tickets.
• Troubleshoot Windows desktops, Microsoft Office, mobile devices, connectivity, printing, user profiles, and applications.
• Support Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange, mail flow, Exchange DAG, backup solutions, and server infrastructure.
• Manage user accounts, password resets, bulk operations, spam filtering, and related platforms.
• Configure switches and troubleshoot DHCP, DNS, Active Directory replication, and VPN issues.
• Deploy imaged hardware, participate in the on-call rotation, and perform after-hours onsite infrastructure maintenance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of related work experience.
• Proficiency in Azure environments and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Strong Windows desktop troubleshooting, networking, Exchange, and server support skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to multitask, follow defined processes, and provide white-glove client service.
• Ability to work onsite in the Boston area and travel to local client locations is required.
