Product Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. Monday–Thursday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with every other Friday off under a 9/80 schedule. Travel to customers and suppliers may be required up to 5%.

Salary: $85,000–$120,000 annually.

What you will do

• Serve as the day-to-day technical interface for production programs and resolve design, manufacturing, assembly, and test issues.
• Evaluate and implement assembly fixtures, production flow-line systems, tools, and test equipment.
• Maintain design integrity, producibility, and quality across development and production hardware.
• Create work instructions, acceptance test procedures, engineering memos, and electronic historical records.
• Analyze non-conformances and technical issues, develop root cause and corrective action analyses, and support material review board activities.
• Drive design changes by redlining drawings, hosting change review boards, and completing engineering change orders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, Aerospace, or a comparable engineering field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar engineering role.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, system schematics, and technical documentation.
• Technical expertise in electromechanical actuation products, electronics, and related technologies.
• Ability to write work instructions and other engineering documentation.
• Strong collaboration and coordination skills for working with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of GD&T according to ASME Y14.5.
