Head of Workplace

Location: San Francisco, CA, United States. The role leads workplace operations across approximately 10 global offices.

Base salary: $171,200–$214,000 USD annually for eligible full-time positions in San Francisco, New York, and Seattle. Compensation may also include equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead strategy and oversight for the global real estate portfolio across approximately 10 offices, including site selection, leases, renewals, and property dispositions.
• Manage CBRE and other outsourced facilities providers, defining service levels, performance metrics, sourcing processes, contracts, and renewals.
• Own Workplace and Real Estate budgets covering leases, facilities, food and beverage, and capital projects; prepare forecasts and report spending to Finance and leadership.
• Oversee food and beverage programs, office amenities, events, and employee feedback initiatives.
• Deliver office openings, expansions, relocations, and build-outs with architects, contractors, and project managers.
• Lead workplace safety, emergency preparedness, business continuity, health and safety compliance, and incident response across sites.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading a global, multi-site Real Estate and Workplace function.
• Deep experience managing integrated facilities management partners and outsourced service models.
• Experience owning large, multi-million-dollar operating and capital budgets.
• Experience negotiating leases and delivering international office openings, build-outs, and relocations.
• Strong analytical, strategic, project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience building and leading Workplace teams consisting of employees and vendor partners.
