What you will do

• Establish experimental proof of concept for novel biological pathways in emerging areas of immunology.
• Translate proprietary human datasets, published literature, and computational analyses into focused bench studies.
• Develop disease-relevant in vitro, co-culture, and ex vivo models for human disease biology.
• Design, execute, and interpret experiments testing mechanistic hypotheses.
• Generate rigorous data to validate emerging pathways and therapeutic opportunities in autoimmune and autoinflammatory diseases.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and communicate recommendations that guide research direction.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Immunology, Cell Biology, or a related discipline, with relevant academic or industry research experience.
• Strong foundation in myeloid, stromal, and mucosal biology, including their roles in chronic inflammation, tissue damage, and healing.
• Ability to integrate literature, multidimensional biological data, and experimental findings to develop and test mechanistic hypotheses.
• Familiarity with single-cell, bulk omics, and spatial transcriptomic datasets.
• Experience culturing, manipulating, isolating, and characterizing human cell lines and primary immune or tissue-derived cells.
• Experience with multiparameter flow cytometry, imaging-based assays, ELISA, multiplex cytokine assays, qPCR, and transcriptomic approaches.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with lentiviral transduction, siRNA, and CRISPR-based perturbation.
• Familiarity with organ-on-a-chip and microfluidics-based culture systems for primary cells.
