Assistant Professor - Chemistry

Location: Victoria, Texas, United States; full-time, tenure-track campus position.

What you will do

• Teach 12 credit hours per semester in general inorganic and organic chemistry, including associated laboratories.
• Support undergraduate learning through research and other applied student experiences.
• Maintain an active research and scholarly publication agenda.
• Provide career advising and contribute to the general education curriculum and broader campus life.
• Build connections with community organizations and support student recruitment and retention.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, or a related area; candidates with a confirmed completion date may be considered.
• Commitment to undergraduate education and supporting Biology majors and pre-health students.
• Evidence of an active research agenda and ability to publish in the field of expertise.
• Ability to maintain a strong campus presence in Victoria, Texas.
