Backend Software Engineer (Java/Python)

Location: Remote within the United States, with residence in the US Pacific or Mountain time zones required

Salary: $124,749–$196,225 annual base pay, depending on geographic pay zone

What you will do

• Build REST APIs that power core customer experiences.
• Configure monitoring for backend services and develop features with reliability in mind.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for engineering teams.
• Develop integrations with an enterprise content management system.
• Collaborate with engineers with varied strengths to deliver platform improvements.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with one or more prominent programming languages, such as Java, Python, Kotlin, Go, or Scala.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience performing platform integrations using REST.
• Experience working with Git in a collaborative team environment.
• Familiarity with server technologies including NPM, Docker, NGINX, and Express/Node.
• Must be located in the US Pacific or Mountain time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience with an enterprise content management system.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Experience with Java, Freemarker, or Rust.
