Application Analyst EPIC

Location: Fully remote with onsite presence required for meetings, training, implementation, and support at Peaks Regional Office in Broomfield, Colorado. Candidates residing or planning to reside in California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia, Vermont, or Washington are not considered. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with on-call shifts.

Salary: $32.42–$51.08 per hour, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Provide technical support, analyze incidents, diagnose problems, and determine resolutions for healthcare applications.
• Gather and translate business and technology requirements into functional designs, specifications, workflows, and development plans.
• Configure, test, install, implement, monitor, maintain, and optimize applications and related hardware integrations.
• Partner with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and peers on integrations, implementations, troubleshooting, and support.
• Manage small to mid-size projects, including project management activities, resource planning, ServiceHub requests, and minimum viable products.
• Develop documentation, training materials, testing plans, scripts, reports, and change-management deliverables.

Requirements

• Epic certification on EpicCare Link, Care Everywhere, Release of Information, Health Information Management, Payer Platform, Identity, or related Epic applications is preferred; certification must be maintained when required.
• At least two years of relevant work experience, or active progress toward a bachelor's degree with four years of related experience.
• Knowledge of healthcare applications, system analysis, operating systems, requirements assessment, documentation, and problem definition.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel pivot tables, Visio, Project, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, healthcare, business, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may substitute with approval.
• Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods and work with computers and other IT equipment.
