Epic Applications Analyst II - Cadence and Referrals (Healthcare)

Location: Oklahoma, United States (Hybrid); occasional travel may be required.

What you will do

• Implement, configure, maintain, and support Epic and other clinical applications, including electronic health records and clinical decision support systems.
• Collaborate with clinical users, IT staff, vendors, and operational leaders to improve workflows and align technology with clinical needs.
• Test and validate new implementations, upgrades, and enhancements to protect clinical workflows and patient care.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues while minimizing impacts on patient care and clinician productivity.
• Maintain documentation for system configurations, changes, testing, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Participate in the full system development life cycle, including use-case development, software evaluation, and clinical rounding.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree plus 1 year of experience, an associate degree plus 2 years of experience, or 3 years of healthcare or IT experience.
• Epic certification is required; relevant certifications may include EpicCare Ambulatory, EpicCare Inpatient, Radiant, Cupid, Optime, Anesthesia, or Grand Central.
• Understanding of healthcare workflows, terminology, and clinical software implementation and support.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of IT solutions and interfacing is preferred.
