TL;DR
Application Analyst I – Epic Orders (Healthcare IT): Supporting and optimizing Epic Orders applications and clinical workflows in a hybrid healthcare environment with an accent on order entry, clinical decision support, troubleshooting, and stakeholder collaboration. Focus on implementing enhancements, testing upgrades, managing operational queues, and resolving complex workflow issues across Epic Orders, Radiant, and Cupid.

Location: Hybrid; onsite three times per month at 885 Third Avenue, New York, NY. Schedule: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST, Monday–Friday, with a rotating on-call shift.

Annual pay range: $102,800–$164,500.

What you will do

  • Configure, maintain, optimize, and enhance Epic Orders applications and clinical workflows.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application, workflow, and system issues.
  • Partner with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions.
  • Participate in upgrades, enhancements, testing, deployments, and order-entry workflow support.
  • Manage worklists and operational queues within Epic applications.
  • Create documentation and testing scripts while identifying opportunities to improve user experience and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Active Epic Orders Certification required.
  • Experience supporting Epic Orders applications in a healthcare environment.
  • Knowledge of clinical workflows, order management processes, and Epic application support methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and build effective partnerships with clinical, operational, and technical teams.
  • Availability for hybrid onsite work in New York City and a rotating on-call shift.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Epic Cupid and/or Epic Radiant.
