Senior Product Manager (Invoices & Payments)

Location: Westchester, Illinois, United States; full-time, onsite

Salary: $123,950–$154,880 per year

Product work supporting post-sale transaction services, invoicing, payments, and financial operations.

What you will do

• Own the product vision, roadmap, and delivery for invoices and payments within post-sale transaction services.
• Define invoice generation, adjustment, presentation, status communication, and buyer-facing payment coordination.
• Design business logic for wire, ACH, card, check, financing, and out-of-band payments interacting with open invoices.
• Own refund logic and tools that allow FinOps and support teams to correct payment misallocations without engineering involvement.
• Partner with engineering, FinOps, finance, operations, and customer service on requirements, implementation, and edge cases.
• Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, UAT, release readiness, and post-release monitoring.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience leading business-critical product initiatives.
• Ability to turn broad product visions into incremental features, prototypes, and scalable solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to reason through complex edge cases and translate ambiguous requirements into clear product specifications.
• Experience using qualitative and quantitative customer data and working in agile or iterative development environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with transaction-heavy platforms, payments, marketplaces, or financial services.
• Knowledge of wire payment processing, memo matching, reconciliation, and payment misallocation resolution.
• Experience building self-serve correction and permission tooling for operations teams.
• Exposure to SQL, data analysis, financial reporting platforms, ERP integrations, or Oracle financial modules.
• Understanding of internal controls, audit requirements, SOX considerations, and financial operations systems.
