Operations Manager - Electrical Construction

Location: Full-time onsite position based at the Nisku, Alberta office, Canada

Western Pacific Enterprises, a subsidiary of hirify.global, provides large-scale electrical construction services across western Canada, including commercial and industrial, substation, transmission and distribution, and renewable energy projects.

What you will do

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the WPE Nisku office and lead the operational team.
• Manage project managers, project schedules, estimating opportunities, and estimate reviews.
• Monitor project financial performance, production, contractual compliance, and overall group P&L.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, pursue business growth opportunities, and add new clients.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate employees while enforcing company policies and safety expectations.
• Support financial planning, reporting, and overall business performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in the construction or utilities industry.
• Strong understanding of electrical construction operations, financial management, and scheduling.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and the ability to develop a safety culture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, salesmanship, leadership, and team-building skills.
• Regular and predictable attendance at the Nisku office is required.
