Salary: $110,400–$138,000 annually

What you will do

• Manage project design teams, including staffing, workload distribution, performance reviews, and team development.
• Forecast workloads for secured and prospective projects and recommend work allocation based on staff availability.
• Represent the organization in client, stakeholder, association, and government meetings.
• Train staff across the design process to maintain technical continuity.
• Lead quality assurance and quality control initiatives, improve service and design systems, and minimize costs.
• Coordinate field reviews and investigate deviations from required standards to define corrective actions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design experience.
• 5–10 years of experience with mechanical site inspections, field review reports, and site meetings.
• Familiarity with the BC Building Code and BC Building By-law.
• At least 5 years of project management experience in consulting engineering.
• Professional Engineer designation (CEng, PEng, or equivalent), Applied Science Technologist designation, or eligibility to apply.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
