Product Manager (Integration Tools, Modbus & BACnet)

Location: Kennesaw, Georgia, USA; hybrid schedule with at least three office days per week

What you will do

• Own the complete lifecycle, strategy, roadmap, prioritization, quality, and end-of-life planning for Modbus and BACnet integration tools.
• Define integration solutions and value propositions for building automation, HVAC, refrigeration, and industrial control systems.
• Translate customer, market, and interoperability requirements into detailed product requirements for Engineering.
• Lead collaboration across engineering, software development, marketing, sales, technical support, and customer success.
• Conduct customer and industry research with OEMs, system integrators, distributors, and end users.
• Monitor standards, competitors, technology trends, adoption, customer satisfaction, and business performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience with BACnet and Modbus integration tools, gateways, protocol converters, or building automation systems.
• Experience in HVAC, refrigeration, building automation or controls, industrial automation, or energy management systems.
• Strong understanding of BACnet, Modbus RTU/TCP, industrial communication protocols, and system integration principles.
• Experience gathering customer requirements, creating product requirements and roadmaps, and working with engineering and software teams using Agile methodologies.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not provided. Ability to travel up to 20% is required.

Nice to have

• 3–7 years of product management experience with software, controls, connectivity, or integration products.
• Knowledge of MQTT, OPC UA, REST APIs, LonWorks, ASHRAE BACnet standards, and interoperability certification.
• Experience with BAS, supervisory controllers, PLCs, edge controllers, gateways, or IoT connectivity platforms.
• Experience working with OEMs, system integrators, controls contractors, and building automation partners.
• Master’s degree, MBA, or engineering degree.
