Enterprise Product Manager - Industrial Optimization & Analytics

Location: Southfield, Michigan, USA; approximately 25% travel to plate-processing facilities.

Salary: $99,284–$148,926 annually.

What you will do

• Own the roadmap, enhancement backlog, governance, and deployment strategy for plate-processing technology.
• Improve plate yield, material utilization, remnant consumption, saw productivity, nesting efficiency, inventory turns, and delivery performance.
• Translate operational needs into business requirements and lead process redesign across operations, production planning, supply chain, sales, finance, and IT.
• Coordinate integrations with ERP, MES, IoT, inventory, warehouse, scheduling, reporting, and analytics systems.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs, establish benefit targets, validate results, and present performance improvements to senior leadership.
• Manage technology vendors, user acceptance testing, training, adoption, change management, and facility onboarding.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, operations management, information systems, business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in metals distribution, metals processing, manufacturing, or industrial operations.
• 3+ years of experience with nesting, optimization, production planning, plate processing, or cut-to-size operations.
• Experience leading cross-functional business process improvement initiatives and translating business requirements into system solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder-management, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Ability to work in Southfield, Michigan, USA, with approximately 25% travel.

Nice to have

• Experience with OT/IT integrations, ISA-95 frameworks, IoT connectivity, or operational analytics tools such as ARDIS or Sigma Nest.
• Experience with plate sawing, waterjet cutting, laser cutting, metals service centers, inventory optimization, or remnant management.
• Experience with SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, JobBOSS, or similar ERP platforms.
• Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma experience.
