Sr Field Service Technician: GSE

Location: Dallas Fort Worth, Texas, United States. The role serves local regional customers onsite and requires travel to other airports within the continental United States, including 40–50% travel outside the employee's region.

Salary: $73,200–$117,800 per year. Hourly pay, overtime, per diem for nights away from home, and travel expenses are provided.

What you will do

• Provide hands-on service for aircraft tow tractors, container loaders, aircraft deicers, baggage and cargo transport vehicles, and other ICE or EV ground support equipment.
• Diagnose, repair, upgrade, and maintain hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Upload and download PLC programs, troubleshoot logic, and adjust equipment control systems.
• Collaborate with dealer technicians and use technical documentation, manuals, and schematics to resolve service issues.
• Maintain work orders and service reports, participate in OEM testing and upgrades, and provide customer operating instructions.
• Mentor junior technicians and support safe equipment operation at customer sites.

Requirements

• Previous ground support equipment (GSE) experience is required.
• High school diploma or GED and five or more years of relevant experience in machine assembly, light fabrication, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in electrical diagnostics and repair, mechanical systems and component-level service, and hydraulic diagnostics and repair.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, independent problem-solving ability, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite with 40–50% travel outside the local region and to obtain a passport if necessary.
