Location: Remote within the United States, generally in the lower 48 states within 2 hours of an airport. Approximately three months of initial training is provided onsite at a Wisconsin facility with housing. The role requires extensive travel throughout the United States, including customer-site assignments and overnight stays.
Salary: $80,000–$90,000 annually.

What you will do
- Program, debug, and troubleshoot PLC systems and automation controls.
- Install, commission, upgrade, service, and diagnose capital equipment at customer facilities.
- Resolve electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and control-system issues during routine and emergency service.
- Train customer operations and maintenance personnel on safety, PLC systems, and best practices.
- Prepare installation reports, programming-change records, service documentation, and quality reports.
- Coordinate business travel, manage travel logistics, and submit expense reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, Controls, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience programming, debugging, and troubleshooting PLCs.
- Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, control, automation, and manufacturing systems.
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly layouts, ladder logic, and technical procedures.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, customer-relations, communication, problem-solving, multitasking, and independent-working skills.
- Ability to travel up to 100%, including approximately 21 days per month away from home, and eligibility to obtain and maintain a valid passport.

- Proficiency with CAD systems or SolidWorks.
- Multilingual proficiency.
- Interest and availability for international travel.
