Field Service Representative (Oil And Gas)

Location: Remote, but candidates must reside in the Corpus Christi, Texas area, United States. The role includes customer-site field service, travel, call-out services, commissioning, and offshore work.

Salary: $65,000–$85,000 annually, excluding overtime.

What you will do

• Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and commission turbomachinery and package systems at customer locations.
• Use test equipment, schematics, manufacturers' specifications, digital tools, gauges, and instruments to diagnose malfunctions.
• Repair or replace faulty mechanical parts and perform cleaning, lubrication, adjustments, and routine installations under supervision.
• Provide preventive maintenance, inspection, call-out, and customer service support for power supply and oil and gas equipment.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent experience is desired.
• Knowledge of mechanical maintenance for power plants, oil and gas equipment, troubleshooting, safety procedures, and programmable logic controllers.
• Ability to meet customer service expectations, take initiative, and solve technical and operational problems.
• Must reside in the Corpus Christi, Texas area.
• Must pass a Department of Transportation drug screen, physical fitness evaluation, and physical examination.
• Must obtain OGUK offshore certification through a Solar-approved physician and be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential. A clean driving record is required.
