Associate Product Manager (HVACR)

Location: Kennesaw, Georgia, USA; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the office

What you will do

• Own the full product lifecycle, including SKU management, forecasting, cost reduction, quality improvements, aftermarket needs, and obsolescence.
• Develop and execute five-year product roadmaps, prioritize new product development, and evaluate ideas against market opportunities and strategic fit.
• Define value propositions and product positioning based on customer needs, market problems, and segment requirements.
• Analyze market trends, legislation, segmentation, and competitor products to identify opportunities and inform product strategy.
• Lead collaboration across Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, and Support to deliver products and go-to-market plans.
• Manage product performance, pricing, profitability, customer research, industry engagement, and investment business cases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Understanding of product management and technical specifications, with co-op, internship, or related experience.
• Strong verbal and written business communication skills and the ability to deliver presentations to varied audiences.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Two to five years of product management-related experience and managerial experience with product lines.
• Knowledge of marketing dynamics in technical manufacturing operations.
• Experience with HVAC/R markets, products, customers, and competitors, particularly electronics and controls.
