Electronic Technician I (5:00am-1:30pm) 72.5kv

Location: Onsite manufacturing facility; work schedule is 5:00am–1:30pm.

Pay range: $25–$27 per hour.

What you will do

• Assemble junction boxes, electronic controls, and other assemblies from mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Install, test, inspect, and troubleshoot electronic assemblies for production and aftermarket support.
• Review wiring diagrams and interconnect drawings with manufacturing teams.
• Document production and quality activities using required forms.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow applicable procedures and regulations.
• Assist with training employees on basic to moderately complex electronic assembly and testing tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of experience and skill development.
• English proficiency sufficient to understand and follow verbal and written instructions is required.
• Ability to read drawings, bills of material, wiring diagrams, ladder logic, schematics, and Gerber files.
• Ability to troubleshoot wiring and discrete circuits containing relays, diodes, transistors, capacitors, resistors, and DC battery chargers.
• Basic computer skills, attention to detail, independent work ability, and compliance with written procedures.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools, multimeters, and power supplies; ability to meet medium-heavy physical demands, including occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds with assistance.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a related discipline.
• One to two years of experience as an electronics technician.
• Equivalent work or military experience and skill development.
