Electronic Technician I (System Protection)

Location: Onsite manufacturing role; regular first-shift schedule from 5:00am to 1:30pm.

Salary: $25–$27 per hour, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Assemble junction boxes, electronic controls, and other assemblies from mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Install, test, inspect, and troubleshoot electronic assemblies for production and aftermarket support.
• Review wiring diagrams and interconnect drawings with manufacturing teams.
• Perform final electronics checkout and document production and quality activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and use tools, equipment, and materials responsibly.
• Assist with training colleagues on basic to moderately complex electronic assembly and testing tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of experience and skill development.
• Ability to safely use small hand and power tools and work independently from written procedures.
• Ability to read drawings, bills of material, wiring diagrams, interconnect drawings, ladder logic, schematics, and Gerber files.
• Working knowledge of bench troubleshooting for wiring and discrete circuits containing relays, diodes, transistors, capacitors, resistors, and DC battery chargers.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of millimeters and power supplies.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English. An associate degree in electronics or 1–2 years of electronics technician experience is preferred.
