Pay range: $25.88–$43.13 per hour

What you will do

• Partner with Systems and Design Engineering to test and troubleshoot next-generation RF plasma generators.
• Support the design, testing, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems and experimental circuitry.
• Perform testing and troubleshooting using schematics, diagrams, layouts, and defined plans.
• Conduct engineering and experimental tests to collect design data and support research.
• Perform operational testing and fault isolation, and help determine corrective actions for malfunctions.
• Build, test, and check out test equipment using oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized diagnostic equipment.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent technician experience.
• At least 2 years of related experience.
• Ability to work with analog, digital, and logic systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally move objects up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to work safely with mechanical and electrical hardware, high voltage, water, and heat.
• Applicants may need to be U.S. persons for positions involving ITAR- or EAR-controlled goods and technologies.
