Test Technician II (High Voltage)

Location: Hauppauge, New York, United States; onsite

Salary: $25.50–$34.00 per hour

What you will do

• Test and calibrate high-voltage power supplies to verify performance and safety requirements.
• Troubleshoot and repair high-voltage power supplies and electronic sub-assemblies to component level.
• Work from written test procedures and read electronic schematics and circuit diagrams.
• Record functional data during testing phases and analyze results for test validity.
• Communicate with Production Management and Manufacturing Engineering to support continual improvement.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of practical electronics test experience, or equivalent education and experience through an electronics certificate, associate degree, bachelor's degree, military technical training, apprenticeship, or vocational training.
• At least 1–2 years of experience testing and troubleshooting electronic assemblies.
• Knowledge of electronic theory and electrical circuitry, with the ability to troubleshoot to component level.
• Soldering skills and the ability to use written test procedures.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to work onsite in Hauppauge, New York.
