Test Tech I (Medical Devices)

Hourly pay: $22.50–$25.00

What you will do

• Evaluate, functionally test, service, and perform basic troubleshooting on new and used medical devices.
• Use electronic test equipment and learn the test systems across multiple product lines.
• Analyze basic circuits, interpret schematic drawings, and distinguish real failures from false failures.
• Record product and quality information accurately through computer or written documentation.
• Communicate issues to the Team Lead or Supervisor and collaborate constructively with the team.
• Cross-train across work areas, support process improvements, and follow all safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of testing and troubleshooting experience with electronic or electrical equipment.
• Full comprehension of written and spoken English is required because training and knowledge testing are conducted in English.
• Basic understanding of circuits and ability to read and interpret schematic drawings.
• Ability to follow detailed medical device procedures and regulatory requirements consistently.
• Ability to work on site with frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, repetitive motion, and exposure to noise.
