Software Category Manager (Supply Chain)

Salary: $93,400–$143,800 USD annually, with additional bonus and/or equity opportunities for candidates in the United States.

What you will do

• Lead a complex software supply chain sub-category and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business goals.
• Conduct cost, competitive, industry, and marketplace analysis for senior management.
• Translate stakeholder priorities into procurement and supply chain strategies.
• Lead supplier selection, negotiate contracts, and optimize the supplier base.
• Manage day-to-day operations and strategic development of large suppliers.
• Identify contract risks and advise on risk mitigation, business continuity, cost management, and operations strategies.

Requirements

• Four-year or graduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated competence.
• Typically 7–10 years of experience, preferably in procurement, supply chain, or a related field.
• Experience with supplier management, sourcing strategy, contract negotiation, and data analysis.
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams on complex business problems.
• Role location: Spring, Texas, United States of America.
