Electrician/Electronics Tech 3 - 2nd

Location: Angola, Indiana, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $29.00 per hour, plus a $2.00 per hour second-shift differential and potential overtime, call-in, and standby pay.

What you will do

• Install, modify, repair, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and load electrical lines, circuits, systems, fixtures, controls, and equipment.
• Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components in machinery and equipment.
• Lay out electrical circuits and wire new test setups, including strain gauge circuits and recording instruments.
• Verify that installed systems meet specified electrical test conditions.
• Troubleshoot electrical portions of test equipment during test programs and identify causes of malfunctions.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of electrical construction, installation, operation, and troubleshooting for sophisticated circuitry and controls.
• Ability to work with intricate safety interlocks and warning systems.
• Knowledge of electronic components, including resistors, capacitors, and transistors.
• Skill in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical test equipment.
• Relevant military experience includes Air Force MOS 3E0X1, Navy CE, Marine MOS 1143, Army MOS 12R, or Coast Guard MOS AET.
