Product Owner (Hybrid) - 30289

Location: Hybrid in Fort Meade, Maryland, US, with onsite work at the customer site 2–3 days per week and travel up to 25% CONUS and OCONUS.

Salary: $124,303–$190,000 annually.

What you will do

• Lead analytic and application development activities supporting DoD cyber operations and customer deployments.
• Gather requirements from Air Force customers, create development roadmaps, answer platform questions, and troubleshoot issues.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert for operational big-data platform capabilities and integrate them into customer workflows.
• Coordinate with engineering, development, marketing, and customer experience teams on delivery plans and operational roadmaps.
• Manage customer adoption, DevSecOps delivery milestones, release communications, and acceptance of new capabilities.
• Support business development through opportunity identification, proposal activities, market analysis, and customer relationship management.

Requirements

• Current TS/SCI U.S. Government security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.
• 9+ years of experience in DoD cyber, agile development, and/or big data with a bachelor’s degree; alternative experience requirements apply for a master’s degree or high school diploma.
• Prior government or military experience with organizations such as MARFORCYBER, DCSA, DISA, Army Cyber, U.S. Cyber Command, AFCYBER, or Navy Cyber.
• Experience managing complex technical projects or programs and prior software or systems engineering experience.
• Knowledge of software design practices, requirements decomposition, data structures, algorithms, and large complex datasets.
• Ability to work onsite at the Fort Meade customer site 2–3 days per week and travel up to 25% on short notice.

Nice to have

• DoD 8140/8570 compliance certifications.
• Experience with software engineering, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, or previous big-data platform experience.
• Technical background sufficient to determine system requirements and support design and estimation.
