Product Owner (Microsoft Azure)

Location: Onsite five days a week in Frisco, Texas, at the Dallas Innovation Lab. Applicants must be based in the United States and be US citizens or full green card holders.

Salary: $115,080–$218,520 annually in the U.S.; location-specific ranges apply in California, Colorado, Massachusetts, New York City, Washington, and Washington, DC.

What you will do

• Translate complex business and operational requirements into technical backlogs, user stories, and product roadmaps for the MAX solution.
• Prioritize product capabilities and align solution design with client objectives and long-term strategy.
• Define scalable, highly available, and secure application architectures for distributed systems.
• Guide cloud integration, API design, and microservices implementation on Microsoft Azure.
• Modernize legacy systems through resilient identity management and enterprise security standards.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary engineering teams while coordinating communication with clients, executives, and public-sector stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience in enterprise application architecture, distributed systems design, and application modernization.
• Experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager leading cloud solution delivery.
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Azure, system integration, APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with security architecture, identity management, and enterprise compliance standards.
• Strong technical leadership and communication skills, with experience aligning client requirements and engineering execution.
• US citizenship or full green card status, US-based location, and proximity or alignment to the Dallas Innovation Lab are required. A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and Azure Fundamentals or introductory cloud architecture certification are also required.

Nice to have

• Experience with ADOT MVD MAX solutions or similar state motor vehicle systems in a public-sector context.
• Experience in an innovation lab, client co-creation center, or rapid prototyping facility.
• Advanced agile delivery and product backlog optimization experience.
• SAFe POPM, CSPO, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
