Sr. Product Owner - Personal Lines (Hybrid)

Location: Short Hills, New Jersey, United States; hybrid work arrangement

Salary: USD 130,000–168,000 per year

What you will do

• Translate product and program strategy into actionable delivery plans for multiple agile development teams.
• Own end-to-end value delivery, outcomes, prioritization, and alignment with product, IT, business, and stakeholder groups.
• Represent internal and external customers by gathering needs, improving feedback mechanisms, and shaping product scope and design.
• Conduct market and competitive research and apply findings to product initiatives.
• Collect and analyze data, assess cost and business value, and support informed prioritization.
• Manage user story backlogs, agile ceremonies, dependencies, demonstrations, defect remediation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Advanced understanding of the property and casualty insurance industry and relevant product domains.
• At least 5 years of business analysis experience and 5 years of experience in an insurance line of business role.
• Experience leading projects from inception through delivery.
• Advanced experience with product and software development lifecycles, agile methodologies, tooling, and writing and refining agile requirements.
• Strong customer engagement, stakeholder management, market research, data analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working with regulated products and operating effectively at strategic and tactical levels.
