Product Owner - Data Engineering

Location: Must be based in Dallas, Texas. Domestic relocation assistance is available. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $128,470–$192,710 per year

What you will do

• Own project planning and execution from concept through prototype, pilot, implementation, and follow-up.
• Create, maintain, and prioritize the Product Backlog according to business value.
• Define the product vision, make feature decisions, and communicate priorities to Scrum teams.
• Develop project schedules, reporting, tracking charts, checklists, and delivery plans.
• Manage scope changes, decision-making, issue resolution, and resource coordination.
• Work closely with Scrum and Technical Product Management teams to support sprint objectives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of direct product ownership experience with software engineering teams in an agile environment.
• Must be based in Dallas, Texas.
• Extensive experience with Azure DevOps is required.
• Knowledge of decision-making, organizational leadership, program management, change control, and problem management.
• Knowledge of data ingestion, data connectivity, data ontology, annotation architecture, data quality, data lifecycle, storage, and digital traceability.

Nice to have

• PMP certification.
• Certified Scrum Master certification.
• Knowledge of Confluence.
• Knowledge of Power BI.
