Product Owner (Hybrid) - 30304 (Cybersecurity)

Location: Columbia, Maryland, US; on-site with the customer 2–3 days per week. Travel may be required up to 25% of the time, including CONUS travel and occasional OCONUS travel.

Salary: $124,303–$190,000 annually.

What you will do

• Build and maintain relationships with U.S. Air Force and other government customers, supporting growth strategy and customer adoption.
• Lead data acquisition strategy, data validation, and production capability integration into daily cyber operations.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Air Force Big Data Platform capabilities, data requirements, and the 16th Air Force customer landscape.
• Support users with data ingest questions and troubleshoot issues across Air Force network tiers.
• Translate customer requirements for engineering teams and coordinate DevSecOps pipeline delivery, updates, and acceptance.
• Support business development, opportunity identification, proposals, market responses, operational roadmaps, and customer experience plans.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship required.
• 9+ years of experience in DoD cyber, agile development, and/or big data with a relevant bachelor’s degree; equivalent combinations of education and experience may qualify.
• Prior government or military experience with organizations such as MARFORCYBER, DCSA, DISA, Army Cyber, U.S. Cyber Command, AFCYBER, or Navy Cyber.
• Experience managing complex technical projects or programs, supporting acquisitions, and participating in the full business development lifecycle.
• Strong communication, public speaking, interviewing, organization, and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Must obtain Security+ certification within 60 days of hire and work at the customer site in Columbia, Maryland, 2–3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with software engineering, cloud technologies, data engineering, and cybersecurity.
• Experience moving data at scale, especially with Amazon S3.
• Familiarity with Big Data Platforms or data lake architectures.
• Technical background sufficient to determine system requirements and support engineering estimates and solution design.
