Manufacturing Technician 3 (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Livermore, California, United States. Onsite cleanroom role on a night shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 6:15 a.m.

Pay: $25.80–$33.86 per hour, plus a 15% night-shift differential.

What you will do

• Perform advanced mechanical assembly of stiffeners, PCBAs, interposers, and related electrical components.
• Use hand tools, tweezers, dial indicators, digital meters, microscopes, and torque verification equipment for precision adjustments.
• Set up electrical testers, inspect probe cards, perform casualty analysis, and adjust arrays to achieve planarity.
• Troubleshoot test failures down to the component level using ohm, capacitance, and voltage measurements.
• Analyze process data, apply SPC procedures, and accurately record test results.
• Follow safety, quality, cleanroom, and ESD procedures while supporting shift operations and production targets.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of related manufacturing or technical experience.
• Experience with circuit analysis, electrical schematics, electronic circuitry, mechanical assemblies, and semiconductor manufacturing.
• Ability to read mechanical work instructions and engineering documentation.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom with gowning, contamination-control, PPE, and ESD requirements.
• Ability to stand frequently, perform repetitive hand motions, handle delicate components, and lift up to 30 pounds.
