Maintenance Technician IV - IDAP (Night Shift)

Location: Onsite in West Chester, Ohio, USA. Work schedule: 12-hour night shift, 2/2/3 rotation, 6:00pm–6:30am.

Base pay: $28.50–$46.50 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform corrective, predictive, and preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, inspections, rebuilds, line turnarounds, and equipment changeovers.
• Troubleshoot and maintain electronic, environmental monitoring, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical process equipment.
• Install new equipment, oversee upgrades, and support project implementation and validation activities.
• Monitor equipment performance, prioritize maintenance needs, and resolve failures with limited supervision.
• Complete cleaning, housekeeping, 5S, and controlled-area activities to maintain a cGMP environment.
• Train production operators on equipment setup, minor adjustments, and repairs.

Requirements

• Experience maintaining automated process equipment in a regulated GMP environment.
• Proficiency in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, including mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronics.
• Familiarity with controlled manufacturing or CNC environments, gowning, environmental monitoring, and cleanroom behavior.
• Ability to independently diagnose equipment failures, interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings, and use equipment manuals.
• Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems such as SAP and accurate completion of work orders, batch records, and GMP logs.
• Ability to understand, read, write, and communicate in English; visa and work authorization sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• High school diploma, GED, associate degree, or vocational/trade certification in industrial maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or instrumentation disciplines.
• 4+ years of equipment maintenance experience in pharmaceutical or GMP manufacturing.
• Experience with OEE, TPM, LEAN, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with Maximo, SAP, ADP, KRONOS, MRP, or ERP systems and automated pharmaceutical equipment.
