Release Train Engineer (Pharmacy)

Base pay range: $115,400–$192,300 per year

What you will do

• Design, facilitate, and continuously improve value stream and ART operating cadences, including PI Planning, ART Syncs, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
• Lead large-scale, cross-functional planning and execution events involving multiple teams, competing priorities, and real-time decision-making.
• Prepare teams and leaders for PI Planning by aligning capacity, dependencies, risks, objectives, and backlog readiness.
• Make cross-team dependencies, risks, blockers, and impediments visible while improving flow and escalating unresolved systemic issues.
• Track ART health, flow metrics, and delivery outcomes using AI-enabled analytics and dashboards to identify risks and bottlenecks.
• Coach teams and leaders on Lean-Agile principles, facilitate improvement activities, and align Product Management, Technology, User Experience, Data, portfolio, and business partners.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent experience and typically 7+ years of relevant experience in Agile delivery, program delivery, product development, technology, or a related field.
• Experience supporting Agile teams in scaled environments and leading large, cross-functional planning and execution events.
• Strong knowledge of SAFe, Lean, Scrum, Kanban, PI Planning, dependency management, flow, and continuous improvement.
• Advanced facilitation, coaching, stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to influence without formal authority, apply sound judgment, manage complex problems, and communicate with delivery teams and senior leaders.
• Experience with Agile planning and collaboration tools such as Atlassian and Miro.

Nice to have

• SAFe Release Train Engineer, SAFe Practice Consultant, SAFe Agilist, Certified ScrumMaster, Agile Coach, PMP, or comparable certification.
• Experience with pharmacy products, pharmacy operations, medication access, or healthcare delivery.
• Experience with AI-assisted facilitation, predictive delivery insights, scenario modeling, or Agile metrics automation.
• Experience in a product-led operating model spanning product, engineering, data, user experience, and business teams.
