Engineering Program Manager (Machine Vision)

Location: Fridley, Minnesota, United States. Hybrid arrangement with four onsite days and one remote day per week; 10–20% domestic and international travel required.

Salary: $142,400–$213,600 USD annually.

What you will do

• Lead concurrent engineering programs for machine vision inspection, dimensional measurement, label inspection, seal inspection, and related imaging technologies.
• Define program scope, deliverables, schedules, budgets, resource plans, governance, and success criteria.
• Coordinate hardware, software, controls, optics, sensors, algorithms, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and manufacturing equipment integration.
• Drive programs through concept development, feasibility, validation, deployment, launch, and sustainment using Agile, Scrum, waterfall, and hybrid methods.
• Manage critical paths, dependencies, risks, recovery plans, technical reviews, and stage-gate deliverables.
• Coordinate suppliers and manufacturing sites while providing executive reporting on progress, finances, resources, risks, and decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations, business, computer science, or a related field, or an advanced degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• With a bachelor’s degree, 7+ years of program management, engineering, manufacturing operations, or technology deployment experience is required.
• Experience leading large-scale cross-functional programs in a matrixed organization.
• Experience with program governance, integrated schedules, executive reporting, stakeholder management, dependencies, risks, and business outcomes.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies and professional experience in the medical device industry.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at hire and throughout employment; sponsorship is limited to Principal-level roles and above.

Nice to have

• Experience with machine vision, computer vision, industrial imaging, automated inspection, optics, cameras, sensors, image-processing algorithms, dimensional measurement, or manufacturing automation.
• Experience leading reusable platform-based engineering programs across multiple sites.
• Experience in regulated industries with verification, validation, traceability, risk management, and change control.
• Experience with Planisware, Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or Power BI.
• PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, Professional Scrum Master, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent certification.
