Demand Planning Manager (Supply Chain)

Location: Rochester, New York, or Chicago, Illinois, United States. Onsite role with approximately 10% travel; the position requires sitting and/or standing for extended periods and working on a computer.

Salary: $113,500–$177,600 per year.

What you will do

• Lead demand planning for an assigned portfolio of brands across quarterly S&OP and annual planning cycles.
• Develop baseline statistical forecasts for depletions and shipments using appropriate forecasting models and techniques.
• Analyze trends, forecast performance, MAPE, bias, root causes, opportunities, and risks.
• Partner with Sales, Brand, Finance, Commercial Excellence, and other stakeholders to incorporate market insights and resolve forecast gaps.
• Provide volume inputs for S&OP, Annual Operating Plan, and Long Range Planning activities.
• Support data integration for acquired or divested brands, new product development, and other supply chain improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain, or a related business field.
• 5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, supply chain strategy, replenishment planning, logistics, or S&OP/IBP.
• Experience with statistical modeling and forecasting, including lifecycle, base, event, and trend analysis.
• Strong analytical, strategic-thinking, problem-solving, organizational, project management, and process optimization skills.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing, presentation, and communication skills, including the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Expert Excel proficiency and experience working with large, disparate datasets, visualization techniques, demand forecasting tools, and forecasting heuristics.

Nice to have

• Cross-functional experience with sales, marketing, and finance.
• Supply chain experience in the CPG industry or beverage manufacturing.
• MBA, MSc, or a supply chain-related certification.
