Setup Technician V (Blow Molding)

Location: Chaska, Minnesota, United States; onsite manufacturing environment

What you will do

• Install and configure blow molding machine components and align tooling according to work orders.
• Conduct trial runs, adjust machine settings, and support equipment startup.
• Operate and monitor drum molding equipment, replenish resins, and insert cooling fixtures.
• Troubleshoot moderate equipment issues, perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and inspections, and escalate complex repairs.
• Track materials and work orders in SAP or other ERP systems and complete production documentation.
• Verify product dimensions and quality using Camline and measurement tools while participating in 6S and Kaizen improvement activities.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Four or more years of related manufacturing experience preferred, with blow molding setup and troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude, basic math and computer skills, and experience with powered hand tools and measuring tools.
• Ability to read work orders, simple blueprints, and production instructions and follow established procedures with minimal instruction.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, use tools safely, and work in moderate to high noise with required PPE.
