Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Aberdeen, South Dakota, United States; on-site work required. Relocation assistance is not authorized. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Salary: $31.26–$35.88 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, plus shift differentials of $0.50 for second shift and $2.00 for third shift.

What you will do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, install, and modify equipment using written or verbal instructions and technical drawings.
• Support innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Improve equipment efficiency and help solve recurring operational problems.
• Promote a safe, orderly, inclusive, and learning-focused work environment.
• Work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in a technical discipline such as electro-mechanics, mechatronics, automation controls/SCADA, robotics, machining, automotive, diesel mechanics, or wind energy technology; or an equivalent education and industrial maintenance experience combination.
• Alternatively, a high school diploma/GED and three years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Availability for rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.
• Qualified applicants must pass hirify.global-selected testing as part of the selection process.

Nice to have

• Experience identifying root causes and solving recurring problems.
• Experience with manufacturing technology and web-processing equipment.
