Manufacturing Engineering Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Blaine, MN, US; onsite weekend shift

Salary: $20.40–$37.80 per hour

What you will do

• Identify and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime caused by manufacturing issues.
• Evaluate and order tools and fixtures that improve production safety and efficiency.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing initiatives and participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Support new product launches, process development, and product improvements.
• Maintain standard drawings, work instructions, bills, routings, and supplemental manufacturing data.
• Support cost estimation, production-line selection, equipment requirements, and capital planning projects with multifunctional teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience; a two-year or four-year degree is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical thinking, initiative, independence, and adaptability in a dynamic work setting.
• Proficiency in or ability to learn Microsoft Office, JD Edwards, and SolidWorks.
• Ability to document processes in work-instruction format.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement projects.
