Maintenance Technician I (Manufacturing)

Location: Faribault, Minnesota, United States; onsite manufacturing environment

Salary: $24.01–$27.00 per hour, plus applicable shift premiums of $1.00 per hour for the second shift and $1.50 per hour for the third shift

What you will do

• Assist experienced technicians with preventive maintenance and routine equipment inspections.
• Support equipment repairs and troubleshoot mechanical equipment.
• Use hand tools and power tools for maintenance tasks.
• Sandblast, clean, and prepare parts and equipment.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and orderly condition.
• Follow safety procedures while working around moving machinery in a loud manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic mechanical knowledge or hands-on experience preferred.
• Comfort using hand tools and power tools.
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and develop maintenance skills.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Commitment to working safely in a manufacturing environment; required personal protective equipment must be used.

Nice to have

• Manufacturing, maintenance, automotive, construction, or other hands-on mechanical experience.
