Business Operations Analyst - Data (Fintech)

Location: New York, NY, United States

Salary: $120,000–$160,000 USD per year, plus discretionary performance-based bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Own and improve data operations workflows covering contracts, exchange reporting, billing, audits, and vendor coordination.
• Manage contract routing, renewals, documentation, and related legal and compliance workflows.
• Support exchange reporting, monitor licensing updates, and coordinate audit preparation across global venues.
• Review invoices, purchase orders, allocations, and vendor billing with Finance.
• Coordinate vendor onboarding, internal requests, and stakeholder updates.
• Maintain systems, trackers, and process documentation for recurring workflows.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in market data operations, data vendor management, exchange licensing, financial operations, procurement operations, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of workflows involving data vendors, exchanges, contracts, billing, and reporting.
• High attention to detail, ownership, and ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive workflows.
• Experience collaborating with legal, finance, compliance, engineering, data, and business teams.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with inventory management systems, regional licensing requirements, exchange workflows, or vendor ecosystems.
