QA Testing Analyst - Lead (ETL)

Salary: $70,000–$140,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for applicable incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead QA efforts for data ingestion, ETL pipelines, and data warehouse transformations across staging, integration, and Snowflake environments.
• Plan and execute manual ETL testing, validating source-to-target mappings, transformation logic, lineage, reconciliation, and balancing controls.
• Run SQL-based validation for large datasets and high-volume batch processes, investigating data issues and mismatches.
• Coordinate UAT with business teams and translate technical data issues into clear business language.
• Document test plans, cases, results, and evidence in Azure DevOps while maintaining source-to-target mapping spreadsheets.
• Lead defect triage, provide QA status updates, set testing strategy, and mentor onshore and offshore QA analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of ETL testing experience in a data warehouse environment.
• 3+ years of experience with Snowflake and AWS.
• 3+ years of experience leading QA analysts on project teams.
• 2+ years of test automation experience.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services or banking.
• Knowledge of star and snowflake schemas, data lineage, and data transformations.
• Familiarity with PyTest, Cucumber, Selenium, or DBT tests.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
