Senior Import/Export Logistics Trade Analyst (Life Sciences)

Location: Vacaville, California, United States — fully site-based and on-site

Salary: $93,000–$155,000 USD base annual salary, plus performance-related bonus

What you will do

• Review import/export transactions, customs documentation, declarations, and international trade compliance requirements.
• Audit logistics processes, trade documentation, service providers, and cross-border movement of materials and products.
• Identify and mitigate risks involving customs, trade compliance, supply chain disruptions, and Incoterms responsibilities.
• Monitor and coordinate shipments with carriers, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics partners.
• Develop local work instructions and educate stakeholders on trade compliance, SAP processes, transportation requirements, and regulations.
• Track logistics KPIs, evaluate third-party providers, and analyze data to improve efficiency, compliance, and cost optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, International Trade, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Advanced experience in supply chain logistics, international transportation, and global trade compliance.
• Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, customs requirements, and government agency regulations.
• Experience improving international logistics operations while maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Experience analyzing logistics, trade, and compliance data for risk mitigation and operational improvement.
• Experience managing carriers, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers.

Nice to have

• APICS CLTD, import/customs compliance, or export regulatory certification.
