Transportation Analyst

Location: Hybrid role based at the Rocklin, California headquarters, with in-office presence on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Salary: $70,500–$89,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Manage shipment tracking, in-transit reporting, delivery monitoring, and shipment issue resolution.
• Support import and export documentation and maintain compliance with customs laws, CBP regulations, the Harmonized Tariff Schedule, and the Code of Federal Regulations.
• Maintain HTS codes, transportation rates, transit times, and shipment records in SAP and the Transportation Management System.
• Manage large-scale project shipments from import through delivery to site.
• Validate customs broker invoices, resolve disputes, and analyze transportation costs and services.
• Track transportation KPIs and collaborate with internal stakeholders, customers, carriers, and government agencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of relevant experience on the carrier or shipper side.
• Working knowledge of air, parcel, ocean, full truckload, less-than-truckload, and flatbed transportation modes.
• Proven carrier management experience and strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer service focus.
