Senior Manager, Solutions Engineering (SLED Corrections and Campus Security)

Location: US Remote; approximately 30% travel required for customer engagements, field activities, deployments, team onsites, and company events.

Annual base salary: $172,000–$215,000 plus commission, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Build and lead the national Solutions Engineering function for corrections and campus security.
• Hire, onboard, coach, retain, and develop technical team members while managing coverage and capacity.
• Own technical wins, critical escalations, customer deployments, proofs of concept, and site assessment quality.
• Create discovery motions, reference architectures, enablement content, and reusable technical assets for new corrections and campus security use cases.
• Guide integrations and operational strategies involving CAD, dispatch, video and evidence management, streaming platforms, BVLOS approvals, waivers, COAs, and docked operations.
• Represent customer requirements to Product and Engineering and partner with Sales on pipeline, forecasting, account planning, and expansion programs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant technical experience, including customer-facing solutions, field, or applications engineering.
• 1+ years leading a technical team or serving as a technical lead with hiring and mentorship responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of drone technology, public safety sUAS operations, Drone as First Responder concepts, dock-based remote operations, and regulatory compliance.
• Working knowledge of public safety technologies such as CAD, VMS, and related software platforms.
• Experience with technical hiring, onboarding, development, retention, quota ownership, deal strategy, and technical resource prioritization.
• Ability to travel approximately 30% and lift up to 60 lbs unaided; FAA Part 107 certification is required for certain positions.

Nice to have

• Public safety experience as a sworn officer, firefighter, or agency UAS program lead.
• Experience launching Drone as First Responder programs and operating dock-based, remote, or BVLOS systems at scale.
• Familiarity with grant funding, cooperative purchasing, Salesforce, Palantir, or Databricks.
• Experience scaling a technical team during rapid growth.
