Simulator Technician (Aerospace)

Location: Eagan, United States; regular work at the hirify.global Training Center with occasional work from home

What you will do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hirify.global and non-hirify.global flight simulators and associated systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and correct simulator and electronic system issues.
• Complete pre-flight and post-flight checks, basic visual alignments, and automated Qualification Test Guide procedures.
• Record and track maintenance activities in the maintenance management system.
• Support simulator refurbishment, hardware modifications, logistics, repairs, testing, and validation.
• Provide customer support and maintain simulator readiness, cleanliness, and operational availability.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a technical discipline or four years of experience in electronics, avionics, or a related technical field.
• 0–2 years of relevant technical experience.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, system prints, and schematics.
• Proficiency with electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and logic analyzers.
• Knowledge of analog and digital electronics, PC hardware, software, and computer architecture; proficiency in soldering and circuit board repair.
• Effective communication in English and eligibility to work in the United States are required.

• Experience in simulation, aviation, training, electronics, or technical equipment environments.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems.
• Demonstrated technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and equipment testing.
