Quality Inspector (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Perform dimensional inspections of precision aerospace components using CMM equipment.
• Develop and run CMM programmes using Mitutoyo or Aberlink systems.
• Inspect components with manual metrology tools, including micrometers, verniers, and height gauges.
• Verify compliance with aerospace quality standards, engineering drawings, tolerances, and GD&T requirements.
• Record and report inspection results accurately.

Requirements

• Previous experience in aerospace or precision engineering inspection.
• Strong CMM programming experience with Mitutoyo or Aberlink systems.
• Competence with standard inspection and metrology equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and tolerances.
• High accuracy, attention to detail, and a strong quality focus.

Nice to have

• Experience preparing First Article Inspection reports, such as AS9102 documentation.
