Quality Technician- RMA (Temp)

Location: Cookstown, United Kingdom; onsite, full-time temporary position. Applicants must already be legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom; visa sponsorship or work authorization will not be provided.

What you will do

• Support incoming inspection processes using various gauging methods.
• Work with suppliers to facilitate corrective actions and resolve quality issues.
• Perform PED incoming verifications and prepare PED cross sections.
• Conduct process and product audits.
• Support new product development projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to scrap reduction activities within the Cookstown Quality team.

Requirements

• HNC, HND, Foundation Degree, or equivalent in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline, with at least 2 years of relevant experience; alternatively, BTEC, A-level, or equivalent engineering qualification with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience reading technical drawings is advantageous.
• Experience with structured problem solving and statistical techniques when working with suppliers and customers.
• Strong written, oral, and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships and work autonomously.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; CMM programming knowledge is beneficial.
